A few times in different threads I have seen mention made of the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know". In the movie they speak of Quantum mechanics and quantum physics etc. They speak of our ability change our thought patterns and rewire our brains. They speak about how we create our own reality and basically how we are the masters of our own destiny. We create our own day.

I have believed this for many years.

Do you have that power?

sounds to me like you probably could have done it all along. You were just to busy picking out which "step-ladder" to use.

By step ladder I mean which motivation you needed to accomplish said goal. Many probably would have worked. You just picked the one that fit you best.

It is medically proven that we can controll our own fates to a certain point. Most things in life, even sickness, is largely mental. Your thinking and your additude determine how your life is going to be.

I believe we have the power to change our thought patterns and rewire ourself into a new way of thinking or acting. not me, but alot of people use mind over matter to stop their vices. I am comfortable with mine.
As far as being master of our own destiny, I think that;s kinda different. I don't think we have control at all over our destiny, that is like a given, set in stone kinda thing. only we can change is the way we get to our destiny thru our mindset on our journey to our final destination.
