Over the years many game consoles have been released from the Atari to the XBox. Which system is your fav?

I think the Original Nintendo was the best at the time, and had some of the most creative games and ideas that game systems use today. But as far as graphics and technology goes I will have to give it to the X-Box, its extremly powerful; it technically the most advanced gaming system ever.

Although the X-Box probably has the best graphics, the Playstation 2 has the most games and for some reason that seems to be the most popular. The game cube is cool, but they are targeting it to a younger audience than in the past, which is a pitty because Mario and some other Nintendo characters were my favorite.

The Fantastic Four: Atari 2600, Super Nintendo, Dreamcast, Gamecube. GAMING PERFECTION.

The best system ever is the Playstation 2. They have the best graphics besides the x-box and they have the best games.:rite:

Man, the original NES was awesome, think about it it was the original 16 bit system, I have the track pad where I can run on it, and the gun to shoot with duck hunt, and mario,

who can forget those controllers that made your thumbs square cause you played it so long :)

PS2 and all having the DVD players standard it really cool, but having to pay for a remote on the xBox sucks :( :)

I don't like the X-Box very much, because 1) it is a Microsoft-product (I don't like Microsoft very much, you know ;) ) and 2) the prices in Europe are a teremity! It do not understand why we, the Europeans, have to pay so much more than kids in the USA or Japan and I am not willing to support this price policy, i.e. even not to think about buying one. I hope that many others will do the same. Maybe, Microsoft can be forced to rethink their behaviour...?

What do I prefer? To cut that short: I have a Super Nintendo and a N64, they are still cool, but I prefer the PS2. If I had enough money to buy one then I would do so.

But I know a friend who owns a PS2 and there I can play sometimes...

I like my N64, its not bad, I love the Zelda games, I have not played the 2nd one but I hear its a great thing.

PS2 are great, but I do not have 400 USD to thoraway on it

I may sound stupid but i like Atari,Commodore and all those classic consoles........

I have an Atari 2600 and a Commodore and i love them both and the games on them are 10000% better in my opinion...

Sometimes the simpler games are more entertaining. I guess when you have that much processing power in the new game systems they feel like they had better do something really complicated to take advantage of it.

PS2, no doubt. Id probably say Nintendo original second.

I think N64 takes the cake because it really pioneered multiplayer games with huge hits such as Goldeneye, Mario Party, Mario Kart 64, Perfect Dark, Super Smash Bros...

SNES is a really close 2nd, it had so many quality games.
