Thought i'd start a thread of our current Fantasy teams... i just went on ESPN and paid 30 bucks to buy a team... the payout is 100 i think.. not great but i wanted to play.. here's my team:
Starters:
QB: Dante Culpepper
RB: Ladanian Tomlinson
RB/WR: Reuben Droughns
WR: Randy Moss
WR: Chris Chambers
TE: Alge Crumpler
DEF: Colts
K: Shayne Graham
Bench:
RB Fred Taylor
RB Chris Brown
QB Drew Bledsoe
QB Byron Leftwich
WR Lavernious Coles
WR Jerry Porter
TE Dallas Clark
My starting lineup is NASTY with LT Moss Chambers... im lovin it.. if Culpepper works out in Miami i'll be tough to beat...

I think you have a better chance if you start Bledsoe in my opinion. He's got TO, Witten and Glenn, I think hel'll have an amazing year. You got a pretty good team there, good luck to you.

TO is like the plague.. im not sold that he's going to EVEN START... so ill wait and see about Bledsoe.. both QB's arent 100% locks to be studs...

Of course TO is a pain in the ass, but he is good. I'll give him that. As for starting for the Cowboys, he will until he fucks up. Parcells won't put up wth him, I think it'll only take one strike for him to not play any games this season.

I did my usual autopick draft on yahoo sports (mostly cause I don't have the time to sit around and pick players myself) and here's what I wound up with

WR - Michael Clayton/Keenan McCardell (haven't decided which one I should start
RB - LJ

You need to find yourself another RB...McAllister is not going to have a great year.

That's actually a really good team for being in a league with 14 other people.

I agree. WTF is up with starting 3 Running backs???
AS for my team.. Culpepper and Chambers didnt do much against the Steelers.. WTF is up with them anyway.. its not freakin ROCKET SCIENCE to defeat the steelers defense... i give them credit, they make great players look bad sometimes.. but geez im getting sick of their crap, i dont understand how PROFESSIONAL COACHES cant capitalize on the obvious holes with that Defense... geez someone give me the headset i'll beat the steelers myself.
I need a big game from LT and Moss on monday night... and i think Droughns is gonna blow up against the Saints.

We need to start 1 RB, 2 WRs, and 2 flex players, which can be RB, TE, or WR. I just happen to have 2 RBs in the flex spots.

wow thats a stacked league.. that kind of takes some of the skill out of it...
you shouldn't be allowed to start 3 RB's... in my opinion...

It didn't help me today, though. Really, there aren't that many really quality RBs available. Once you get down to the middle of the second round of the draft your RBs aren't any better than your WRs.

Geez talk about a dud... as for MY fantasy team:
Culpepper and Chambers got me 11 points... woop dee dooo....
Crumpler scored but only got me 8
Droughns only ran the ball 11 times, got me 2 BIG TIME POINTS
im totally F'd this week.. i need a modern day miracle to win this week.. i only have LT and moss going.. and im down by like 30 points.. PLUS he has Santana moss going tomorrow night.
LT needs like 2 TD's and a 160 yard night.. and Moss needs a HUGE game for me to even SNIFF catching up.

You think that's bad? Tom Brady was my stud this week, he almost had 200 yards passing!

Same here. And I forgot to log in that morning to see if Houshmenzadeh was starting, so I got a big zilch outta him.

Understandable...I got the same thing from Palmer, even though the prediction was that he would get close to 20...and larry Johnson was...well, not the LJ I expected:rant:...but its early in the year.
My bright spots were Tony Gonzales and Chester Taylor...but my kicker (Rackers) got the most points this week......sad.

I should make a list of all of the players that sucked the year they were on my team. Tiki Barber, Warrick Dunn, Mushin Muhammid . . . apparently Randy Moss wants to join the club.

Lionel.. Tiki AND Warrick blew up last week.. or did you have them in the past?
Here's a question.. Who do i start at my RB/WR position???
RB Fred Taylor vs. Pittsburgh
RB Reuben Droughns vs. Cincinnati
WR Laverneous Coles vs. New England
i would automatically start Taylor.. but Pittsburgh's D is mean. Droughns has a horrid week one, he might bounce back.. and Pennington blew up and hit Coles for like 140 yards on 7 catches.
Im leaning toward Droughns.. based on the Defenses all three are facing.. who do YOU think i should start?

I've been in the same league for five years. Suffice it to say I had those guys before they blew up last year.
I'd start Coles. I can't see Droughns getting a lot of yardage because I would think the Bengals would play the run first and try to make the Browns beat them in the air.

Are you one of those Reggie-Bush-is-going-to-get-all-the-carries people? I think he's doing just fine. Deuce is more of an up-the-middle guy while Bush is a better outside runner.
On another topic, how's everyone's team doing, post-week 3?
LionelHutz

0-8 (we play three/week, and one is still pending). Suffice it to say this Trent Green as QB thing isn't working out.
