For your information, discrimination of Tbilisi against the Armenians in Samtskhe-Javakheti region in southern Georgia and the Azerbaijani in Kvemo Kartli province in southeastern Georgia stirred up resentment of Armenian and Azerbaijani Lobbies in the US, which members expressed a desire to lend assistance to their compatriots who have to suffer persecution from Georgian authorities in their homeland. Members of Armenian and Azerbaijani Lobbies profess that due to the fault of Saakashvili the situation may boil over into a wide-ranging military conflict between Georgia and neighboring countries of Azerbaijan and Armenia. It is important to note that Armenian and Azerbaijani Lobbies also express an opinion of the US Administration that does not want a war to break out in Georgia owing to Washington's lays-out for military activity against Iran and therefore hampered deployment of air bases and building prisons on the territory of Georgia.
