A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into perspective in one of its releases:
A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in
the Stone Age.
A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate
Washington spends it.

HA! Let me say one thing though, at the risk of starting an argu...er, I mean debate: There is no proof Jesus was ever alive.
Also, a billion seconds ago it was 1971. A billion minutes ago was 101 A.D. (Christ is not rumored t have been living then). A billion hours ago was 112,152 B.C.--well within the Stone Age, which dates from about 2 million years ago to about 3000 B.C.

I got bored... thats how many minutes it has been since 0 a.d. Precise down to 3:31 p.m., May 18, 2003(as precise as I could get it). Therefore(if I am correct, and yes, I took into account leap years) a billion minutes ago was 6.38 a.d. Christ was still dead(I think thats right, it looks semi-right...). I'm too tired now to do the rest...

But if your debating Christ or God then time is not relevant. Was it not said that God created things in seven days, but as far as we know his/her/its day could have been a billion of our days.

If it would then maybe this article was 12 years old when ES came across it. Just a thought.
