I read the news and they blab on and on about this and that city/village in Lebanon or Israel and I don't know where that crap is or even how to pronounce the places.

I need a good map that covers Israel and Lebanon including a lot of cities and villages but no roads or topographal information. I have a half dozen Google maps but not one really good map for reference while reading the news.

Go to your local library, old reb--they should have a good map for you to copy or check out.

Thanks for the advise Rendova, I may go there but in the meantime someone on TheHappyExtremist recommended this link and it is just excellent and free.
