You know anybody who needs an "anti-stupid" pill?
Mon Aug 7, 8:30 AM ET
BERLIN (Reuters) - A German scientist has been testing an "anti-stupidity" pill with encouraging results on mice and fruit flies, Bild newspaper reported Saturday.
It said Hans-Hilger Ropers, director at Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin, has tested a pill thwarting hyperactivity in certain brain nerve cells, helping stabilize short-term memory and improve attentiveness.
"With mice and fruit flies we were able to eliminate the loss of short-term memory," Ropers, 62, is quoted saying in the German newspaper, which has dubbed it the "world's first anti-stupidity pill."

I think a few people on this board need this pill.

You need to urgently address this "anti-stupid pill" matter to the "conservatives", just hope they understand what you are talking about, and please be extremely patient with their understanding ...

This could help older people who are losing their memories. If it improves attentiveness maybe it'll help all these supposed ADD people also.

Since it has been demonstrated to work on rabbits and Democrats are scared little rabbits it ought to work on them, Cromagnon.

Probably wouldn't do Cromagnon any harm, either.

The sad thing is, even if you were able to double his IQ, you'd still be looking at a 2-digit number.

Well, that is better than a single digit after doubling.

True, but then again, most mountain gorillas will show they possess a two-digit IQ when given a multiple-choice test.

If that's all the time you can muster up, then so be it.
Maybe downing a handful of Viagra would help out in that department, pops. ;) :D

Oh Prae, Prae, Prae, pray tell me that whilst I have been absent you have not sunk so low as to revere Paris Hilton. Now THAT would be an all time low Prae.

Okay, okay, maybe she is due for a mild steam cleaning, BUT......who cares; she's hot and dumb and drives a Bentley!!! It doesn't get any sexier than that. Given the opportunity, you'd all screw her, including you, Sal.

Not so, Prae. Given the opportunity I would not screw her. Nor would I screw any other woman other than my wife no matter how beautiful or desireable. There are a few of us left who still take our marriage vows very seriously.

And you can say that with a straight face???
In all honesty, Frogger, I can understand being in love with one person, but let's be honest - if the most beautiful woman you've ever laid eyes on simply rubbed your crotch, then you'd be done for faster than Hugh Grant in a parked car. The reason you can sound so resolute in saying that you wouldn't "cheat" on your wife is because, and let's face it, the most beautiful woman you've ever seen hasn't made a move on you yet.

Sorry, Prae, but you are wrong. I wouldn't. I have been in close contact with enough really good looking women and have had the opportunity to stray from my marriage vows. I haven't done it and I will not do it. I didn't get married until I was 34 so I had ample opportunity to sow my wild oats. When I got married I promised to cleave to my wife, forsaking all others and that is exactly what I mean to do.
Despite the lax moral atmosphere that exist today there are still some of us who believe in the sanctity of marriage.

No freaking way, I wouldn't cheat on my wife either.
Paris has a nice body, but frankly I don't think she's especially pretty.

Hey, I'll third that. I wouldn't cheat on my spouse either, hmm...wait, I don't have a spouse... okay I can have Paris Hilton without cheating... hmmm, wait again, she's too tall, too skinny, and too stupid, not to mention, she's the wrong sex... :) naaaaah, I'll pass.

How long have you been with your partner Sal? If it is for more than a year you have the equivalent of a spouse.

Nah, we don't live together, I just bitch at him as if we're married. :p Kind of a primal response sort of thing. A little distance keeps things fresh and I remain in the mystery woman, princess category... (kidding, kidding) ...well...sort of.

I don't quite agree with the body part. She's like a string bean, skin n bones. I would definitely date her, but part of that has to do with the fact that she's a hilton :)

I would only do that if my life were put on the line and I was forced, or if a tidy sum of money was given to me as a result. Neither of which are likely to occur.

Well, I guess that's what makes the world go round...
I've seen certain photo-shoots of her where she doesn't look all that great, but hey, I'd still love to bang her.
I know, I know.....in my dreams.....:(
