Gee, the trouble one can get into when they start looking just a little too closely at what Drive-by Media is up to nowadays.

It seems that this poor blogger by the name of Charles Johnson, who runs the "Little Green Footballs" website, got hold of a story that Reuters has been doctoring photos coming out of Lebanon. He shows several of the doctored photographs and details how they've been tampered to make the destruction in Lebanon look worse than it actually is.

NOW, it's embarassing enough when a mainstream respected media outlet like Reuters gets caught peddling doctored photos when they're not supposed to be taking sides at all. (heh, heh, heh) BUT this story gets even more interesting because some employee at Reuters decided to vent his spleen by e-mailing a death threat to Mr Johnson, who runs the "Little Green Footballs" website. He out and out stated that "I look forward to day when you pigs get your throats cut."

Under normal circumstances, an employee who goes and uses company computers to e-mail death threats to the people he has a disagreement with would be fired on the spot. But whoever this guy was who threatened the "Little Green Footballs" blogger has merely been suspended "pending investigation."

First it's Dan Rather and his fake documents (Mr Rather asserts that the STORY is real even if the PROOF is fake), THEN it's the Downing Street Memos no one can find a genuine copy of (of course in spite of that the memos are a hand typed copy of the original, the entire lunatic left swears THOSE documents aren't doctored), NOW it's Reuters doctoring photographs to make conditions look worse in Lebanon than what they are.

Of course us cretins who read the news and look at all the pretty pictures aren't supposed to wonder just how much integrity the mainstream media has and whether or not they've been doctoring other stories to skew reader's opinions to one side or another. And we're not supposed to wondering just how much the Press values the First Amendment when employees for major news services start e-mailing death threats to bloggers who find out that phony photos are being peddled.

If you want more on this you can always go to littlegreenfootballs.com, but beware that site is as slow as molasses with all the attention they've been getting. I'll also post a link detailing the story I've just written, dammit.
