I've been officially posting here for a year now, I've remembered back to how different I was and my views were when I first came here. With allForums I've been provided a unique experience that has opened my mind and introduced me to some intelligent people. But this got me thinking--why do I keep coming here? Frankly, I don't know outside of "you guys", but I want to hear why you like allForums, and maybe include what you think could be changed about it to make it better.

*I'd also like to take this time to lobby for the creation of a live chatroom for allForums.

Mostly to pass boring time at work.

At this moment, there are about half a dozen patrons in the ( very large) building, and they're mostly sleeping.

I seek affirmation.

I post to pass the time. I get up in the morning and spend a few hours on the computer, reading the papers, checking my email, posting here and in other fora. I like here because of the mix of people. There tend to be lots of different views put forth and most people can intelligently defend their views.

Well I for one don't like chatrooms. Not that there's anything wrong with them, I prefer the pace of a bulletin board. For years I posted a specific site that also used vbulletin. It was dedicated to my favorite football team. That site grew and they were forced to start charging. I've been burned twice over the internet with money transactions and so the wife wouldn't let me sign up. I've stayed away for the better part of a year, but I missed the people and the connections with others. Trust me I like the people I work with but it's kind of hard making friends.

So I started looking around for another bulletine board that might fill the void, and I found you guys. First it was familiar since the one I used to go to also used vbulletin. I hung out for couple of days and kept reading and realized that I wouldn't mind being part of this. I liked the multi-forum approach and most of you seem pretty level headed, so far. I know I have less than 50 posts but I'm enjoying it so far. :drinktoth

I post here and in another forum because I live the diverse range of people, ages and races. There is always a range of idea's and knowledge shared. I feel you are never to old to learn and share new things.

I love to meet new people,,,,,,learn new things,,,,,i dont have to stay till the end of the night,,,,,,i dont have to wait for a taxi,,,,,i dont have to worry that your lookin down my top while we speak,,,,it dont cost me any money,,,,i dont have to get dressed up,,,,,i dont have to hide my yawn when u bore me.....

new here dont have much of a feeling for all forums yet but, I find it a rather slow forum not many active people post... But I come to add that 50'th of a dollar on topics that intrest me such as politically or religiously derived threads, music, gaming, and reading are also rather intresting.
