And we wonder why the term ugly American flourishes?

GULFPORT, Miss. — Java Umarov didn't get the American experience he was looking for when he doled out nearly $3,000 as part of a work-exchange program for foreign college students.

Fun, travel, adventure! (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,203015,00.html)

You would think the good citizens effected by Katrina would chip in on Sundays with the clean up-call it community spirit.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many of the "good citizens" effected by Katrina have spent much of their time bemoaning their fate & demanding yet more handouts than they were previously receiving. They've also added their individual qualities to the communities that offered assistance following the disaster. Crime rates have increased in many of those communities, while local home-repair businesses have increased their income repairing the damage done by many of these fine citizens seeking refuge from the wreckage of the Gulf coast as the landlords have to evict & then rebuild before renting out yet again.
