Ive been informed in the Religion and Philosophy forum that the purpose of that forum is for Debate. Is this true and limited to debate or should I assume that its ok to post there without debating with the others? If Debate is the sole purpose of that forum, Could I request a "Christianity" Forum ?
I await clarification. Thank you

Feel free to post what you like Tamevine, as long as you understand others will do the same. Christians are welcome here, but you will find many who will challenge your statements of faith. If you're looking for a place to post without anyone disagreeing with you, then allforums isn't the place. :)

I hear Notepad is a good place for posts that nobody questions or disagrees with
Start > Programs > Accessories > Notepad

I dispute this! The Spirit in the Bible spoke to me and said that I'm smart! Therefore you're wrong, and these are facts!

dont bother trying to discuss christianity here, liek they said, you will be engaged no matter what, you are better off doing it through email or PM

Then there are at least three of us on the same wave length because I too am a Christian.

Why post here if you don't want to be engaged in discussion? Inviolable, Dan, Blob, Dio, and myself seem to enjoy debating religious and philosophical issues from time to time. I encourage TameVine (and Frogger!) to do the same.

It is not a question of debate and discussion, evakian. It is the snide, rude comments certain posters make concerning religion and religious people.
I have found more politeness on The Infidel Guy than some here exhibit when discussing religion.

The only people I can think of that perpetrate that are Echo2 (no longer a visitor), and DrewM off and on.

Good site, Blob introduced me to it waybackwhen, he is a regular member there if I recall.

I think it would be fair to name all the people about whom you're speaking, so that they can defend themselves if they disagree. We've established Drew, FT, and Quarter Ton. Anyone else?

By my not naming anyone no one had to defend himself.

I like talking about religion, though I like the combination of Eastern and Western religion and philosophies, and believe in multiple lives... Though a Catholic, still I keep an open mind... And I don't care to talk to "fundamentalists" of any religion... Nothing in religion can be proven with a 100% certainty or the contrary, by our earthly means that is... I would like to know if anyone has some spiritual expirience to share...
