I felt like starting a thread in the Philosophy section, so here we go. Billions of people, in fact the majority of humankind throughout history, all worship God or another god(s). What is your outlook on the idea?

Does "It" take an active interest in our matters, does It have power over us, did It create us, are we created in It's likeness, are there multiple gods, and all sort of other questions that could be answered.

I'll leave the thread open for you to all share your views.

Agreed, your question is basically answered in nearly every thread that comes up here. I understand the wanting to centralise it however.

No, it created the process that resulted in us.

I highly doubt it. I dont believe it has any sort of real form or shape.

Depends on how you define "god". I'd say there are numerous god-like beings.
and all sort of other questions that could be answered.

I don't really mind them online. They can be rather amusing sometimes. However, the power/influence they wield in the real world (especially here in the Bible Belt) is very frightening for an atheist.
