QUESTION:

So what are your opinion on the internet. Do you think it is a good tool or is it a curse. Have you had good experiences or bad. Have you met good friends or losers.

OK I will start hehe.
For me I am new to the internet world. I joined a different forum in January and this was a first and a big step. It was an RPG forum..I have met lots of people and chat with a fair bit on msn or aim. The best part was meeting the most wonderful man. HEHE (red faced). We started off as friends just chatting and getting to know everything about each other. We would talk for hours 5-6 a day. Then he got a job and I also work so now we have a routine. lol To some people this may seem odd. We use webcam and we talk on the phone and voice. So it is not like we are surprises to each other and we exchanged photo's in the beginning. After about two months solid of chatting and emailing and msning, he went away for a long weekend and came back and said hey I really don't want to date other girls and I don't want you to date other guys and well that was fine with me. so it has been two months dating and I am going in August to meet him in the UK. I so can't wait either..... I also met a really good friend and she is in Utah. We even look alike and share so much in common. We talk on the phone every day and she got me into a Game called Guild wars. OMG it is fun

But on the flip side I have met a few people who said they were my friend and they weren't. On is a married lady in love with my boyfriend, nice I know. lol
All in all I have had more good experience rather then bad.
So tell me about your experiences if you wish.

The internet can be both good and bad, and I've had both experiences. I've been disappointed as well as happy. I don't think I could trust making an internet love connection, even tho it has worked for some people. It has also been disasters for some. I've met good people, bad people, losers, haterz, and lots of racists.

Very cool Red

Well I have to tell you something funny. About a week ago and guy aim'd me out of the blue and said hi. Had no clue who this person was or anything. But being the person I am and he peaked my curiosity so I said hi back. hehe
Well it turns out he is a very interesting guy and shares some similar interests as me. It has been fun getting to know him. We both know we have boyfriends/girlfriends and that is cool. We aren't looking for a love connection just a chat partner who seem to stimulate our brains hehe

So it can be very interesting too.
I also think his style of music all be it different from mine is very cool and he shared quite a few songs with me which I liked. I guess you have to be open to new and exciting things.

:woohoo: :woohoo:

Piqued.

Yes piqued my curiosity.
I know there is good people and bad people here in the net but no harm with chatting. He is the type of person who is interesting and enlighten. Plus has no interest in ever meeting the people he chats with so there is no problem.lol
