I thought I would make a little game to pass the time. I love learning new words and sometimes hear words that I've never heard before. This could be fun! Here's what to do:
Define the word posted by the person before you and add a new word.
I guess you can use a dictionary or don't use one. Of course there won't be a way of telling if you use one or not! :)
I'll start:
effulgence...

I also had to use a dictionary for this one. I couldn't find it in the Webster's New Explorer Dictionary but I did have success on dictionary.com.
anacrusis is "one or more unstressed syllables at the beginning of a line of verse, before the reckoning of the normal meter begins"

A spitfire is both the name of a fighter plane and a term for a person, usually a woman who is a real bundle of vim and vinegar.
