Hope the skies are clear. Last one I viewed from San Antonio, TX, spectacular sight.

Eh. Is it just me, or does "stargazing" bore the *&^8 out of you?
I think Solar Eclipses are mildly interesting, but that's about it.

Zzzzzz, oh, I'm sorry I was stargazing. Yeah, Leper, I agree. I'd only watch a solar eclipse just to burn my retna out. Lunar eclipse? Why bother.

I’ve always been interested in stargazing, makes me wonder what ELSE is out there.

I am definitely an astronomer. It fascinates me.

Astronomy's interesting. Looking at stars is boring as hell; Who hasn't seen em a million times before?

Actually, I’ve heard astronomy is a lot more interesting when you’re NOT an astronomer. Astronomers spend most of their time behind a desk looking at paperwork. They only use a telescope about once a month. I’m not an astronomer, so I don’t know any of this for sure, I just heard it on television once.

Well, aren't most subjects that way? I mean, I used to think Biology was interesting until I really started studying it. Then I realized being a biologist these days is one of the most boring professions in the world.

OK, Leper, you've piqued my interest, just what does your "typical" biologist do? Not that there's a particular shortage of "boring" jobs out there, what makes that career so lackluster?
