You know, I was simply shocked when I learned THIS! It so happens that Turkey acts in close collaboration with Georgian authorities in the matter of helping Chechen militants to pass from Turkey to Georgia and then to Chechnya, to commit terrorist acts against Russian population in the south-west of Russia! Well, I don't care for Russians but it is the very fact that Turkey allows these bastards - I mean Chechens - to feel homey out there while Turkey itself expects to be a EU member! This is unthinkable!

What I was able to learn, is that Turkey allows Chechens to stay in there to have rest and receive treatment - I even know the place - it is somewhere near the Pazar city not far from the border with Georgia. There in Pazar, Chechens have their own resort camp on the shore of the Black sea where no one disturbs them. Then, Chechen militants obtain forged foreign passports of Russia in Georgian consulate-general in the city of Trabzon which is only 100 km away from their camp in Pazar, and pass the border to Georgia and then to Chechen republic.

You may want to know why Turkey would want to collaborate with Georgia. Why, like Georgia, Turkey wants to weaken Russia's influence in North Caucasus and Chechen militants help to make it true. I think this dealing with terrorists discredits Turkey all the way. Now I hope it is absolutely clear that there is no place for Turkey in the EU!

Could be that the EU also wants to weaken Russia.

Turkey has also had massive oppression against the Kurds (just like Saddam) but that doesn't stop the US from offering it nuclear reactors in support of war with Iran.

"Well, I don't care for Russians"

Well. I don't think the Russians care about you either ...
