I remember wearing Grolsh (beer i cant spell) bottle tops tied to my shoes....

I remember leg warmers with my white high heels..

I remember electric blue eye make up and mascara..

I remember walkin the streets with my music box blaring out Soft Cell...

I remember havin my hair Bo Derek'd

None, thankfully.

I remember wearing tight bell bottoms that flared out to cover your entire shoe--this was de riguer also clog shoes that were as uncomfortable to wear as a brick on your foot--we wore 'em tho--we suffered to be fashionable--also tube tops, fake Coppertone tans, --we looked really good all jaundiced like that--- huge gold hoop earings, blue eyeshadow, and pictures and doodlings we'd draw with paint on our clothes. Then, later on, velour, and uncool guys trying to look hip wore leisure suits and gold chains--a truly horrid and ridiculous look.

I have seen this thing before I believe ...dummy suckin that is.

I have to admit .........that when Steve Winwood came out with the song ....."Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys" .......I went out and bought a freaky pair of boots that zippered up at the side ...with high heels.

We call pacifiers binkies around my neck of the woods.

It seems the girls are advertising that they are proficient at fellatio by dancing with that thing in their mouth.

I wore pegged pants back in the fifties. Then it was jeans with a garrison belt and engineer boots with a pack of Camels rolled up in the sleeve of my tee shirt. I also had a DA haircut with a flattop kept stiff with Butch Hair Wax.

Later I wore striped bell bottoms with PFC shoes (Puerto Rican Fence Climbers) otherwise known as roach killers. I wore them with bleeding madras shirts.

After that it was tie dye and Cuban heel shoes.

I still am in the stage where as I get older I will look back and realize "what the heck was I doing". From when I was really little though I remember that I use to dress like a tom-boy. I also, which I wouldn't be caught dead doing now, wore socks with sandals, backwords baseball caps, always shorts and t-shirts.

I also played in the dirt which I don't like doing now. And I played with Barbies a lot, which of course I don't do anymore. I even use to give my Barbie's hair cuts. haha. and make furniture for them. haha
