What are young European democracies actually doing before our nose I wonder? The net abounds in reports on active trade in arms there. Those arms come into terrorists hands!
Bulgaria and Albania, Rumania and Czechia, Poland and Hungary and Ukraine, they all don’t need outdated Warsaw Pact weapons amid their NATO membership or their pending NATO entrance. So they’ve been selling on cheap those obsolete Warsaw Pact arms to Georgia mainly, which in fact means to Chechen terrorists and world terrorists’ cells. Georgian links with Chechen terrorists are well-known. I wonder why does Bush let it go?
I can’t get it! Do those young democracies care a bit? Are they aware they are part of Europe and European structures of OSCE and others? Some of them are in NATO. They see their profit only and they’ve already damaged reputation of those respected structures.
Fancy American antiterrorist crusader killed by “made in Poland” grenade somewhere in the Middle East or elsewhere.
Georgia is the country with “smoldering conflicts” and according to OSCE regulations can’t be recipient of any arms from an OSCE member-country.
IMO both OSCE and USA must explore it and make decisive steps to punish those to blame!
