You buy your music? I haven't bought a cd in about 9 years. I am not into metal, but I don't hate it either. I only heard of 2 bands from your list there. I like trance, house, techno, some 80's dance, and 90's dance. I recently got DJ Tiesto's In Search Of Sunrise Vol. 5, and also Paul Oakenfold's A Lively Mind. Both very good.

Hi Bit/Byte:
What is trance and house?
SO techno is like daft Punk?
I like lots of the 80"s dance music. For dance I feel that was the best era. LOL
Lots won't agree but works for me and that is my story and I am sticking to it.

Hi all:
just a quick note to say thanks for all the people that have been concerned about me. It means a lot. I am going to be in and out for a bit. Need to deal with a lot of things right now. But I am going to be OK and will fight bloody hard to come back from this confusion I seem to have gotten into.:hahanot:
I am really impressed by the friends you can make and meet and the generousity of their hearts ( for a lack of a proper word).
Thanks shorty

Trance music is the best. It's very relaxing, and it sounds like techno, but it's a bit different. As for 80's dance music, it's ok every now and then.

Start off with the more mainstream, popular stuff....some: Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, and Paul van Dyk is trance, as well as some Moby.

Bit/Byte is right, Trance is very relaxing. Usually pieces start off slowly and simply, and build up...you sort of get put in a "trance" after listening for so long. House is a mix of disco and synth-pop...namely, Daft Punk as a prime example.

Thanks Evakian:flowers:
I will give them a listen and see what they are like.
Cool I think I might really need some trance music now.
