Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly has wasted no time agreeing with a request by the nine non-settling states in the Microsoft antitrust case; the judge ordered the company to turn over its Windows source code in a ruling issued late Friday. The states asked the judge for the source code so that they could prove that Microsoft's argument that it could not offer a stripped-down Windows version was bogus.

I dont know what you do to your links, but they always get screwed up! Try clicking html and then type CLICK here, then paste the url in the box....

I think Microsoft shouldn't get so much heat, I mean that's stupid.. I love the way IE is inegrated in winows, I didnt ever realize how nice it is until I worked on this win95 computer the other day.. Its so much easier browsing files, etc. I hate netscape: at school for some reason they set that up as the default ( every time you restart the computer it resets all the settings back, so no getting out of it) , if you click IE its open.. BAM! But netscape sits there and loads and then half the time it gives a error! errr.. Even most mac users I know use IE because netscape just sucks. Anyways although I would like to see cheaper prices, I want to continually see fast improvments in the tech industry; something I feel won't happed by free oses because Microsoft can affoard to pay so many tens of thousands of programmers. And there must be a standard, imagine everone using incompatiable software; like the game systems, wouldn't it suck if some games were like "only for win3598752" and some were only for Linux super duper 30983... That would be really agrivating. And lets get real, if Linux or others did finally start putting microsoft under they would just be the same way...

But I like linux.. Maybe if that was the only OS.. But I dont know what Im saying, Microsoft has done so many great things for the computer industry and people who hate microsoft should not be using windows.

I think maybe Linux and other companies would be good "special" areas e.g. Linux for servers and Apples for graphic/movie development as it is; but everything needs to be compatiable......
