Well 90% of al servers run Linux, not windows, because of better reliablity, and stable software, they don't crash each time you mess up...ASP service is nice for larger sites, bu most forums, might have a problem, well not vBulletin it was made with both in mind ;)

But I like Linux it makes things simpler not harder.

LOL I dont think 90% of servers, probably 90% of WEB servers :) , And I think that the main reason is it's [b:97b2af3ddd]FREE![/b:97b2af3ddd], I like Linux though, I just think that's the reason.

I meant Web Servers, most servers we use have Windows 2000, or NT4

Yea, according to apache.org , Apache web server, which runs off linux, makes up for more than 50% of all web servers.. That means it is used more than all other web servers combined! And it's free!!:)

All my servers have had apache, and Linux 6.0 or higher, now they have 7.x

I will never take NT hosting unless I am in dire need!
