I went to see this over the weekend. For a movie that lasted so long i felt as though it explained itself very poorly. I loved the book. The movie not so much. 2 out of 5 stars in my unprofessional opinion. Anyone else seen it?

I agree on all counts. It could've been much better.

I agree. I didn't read the book and the only reason I could follow along somewhat was because my boyfriend read it. He even got confused though because it jumped around a lot.

I also was not thrilled to see Tom Hanks bomb the lead role. I found his acting very corny and fake. It was ok in some parts but overall not very good.

The book was no more historically accurate than the movie.
