Has anyone seen this movie? It kind of went under my radar until I saw it at the local cinema here that usually plays indie movies...etc, it was really good, I was surprised that I actually enjoyed Robert downey jrs performace and he actually showed alot of range in this movie. One interesting thing about this movie is that Val Kilmer plays a gay police officer, but actually breaks the stereotype by being a pretty tough dude which I though was cool. I don't know much about the dvd release but it should be coming out next month, hopefully there will be some good interviews with Val about his performance because it is one of the best movies i've seen him in, might even boost his career back up.

The Kiss Kiss Bang Bang DVD came out June 13th and i finally rented the movie last night and i really enjoyed the movie. Kilmer and Downey Jr. both turned in stellar performances and the more i read up on the movie, the more i found out. Like there's a contest (http://www.kkbbcasting.com/) right now where you re-enact a scene from the movie and the winner is hand picked bt Shane Black, the director! Grand prize is a trip to Hollywood and a meeting with a casting agent. Second place is a 50" HDTV!

Thanks for the link to the contest, I actually got the dvd myself not long ago, its cool that site also has an 8 minute clip from the movie for the contest but it also works out as a pretty good preview if you haven't seen the movie yet.
