I don't work. (Grins from ear to ear.)
Oh, I used to work but now I just do what ever I want. Yesterday I put together eight wrought Iron chairs for my deck and planted twenty five gallon containers of ornamental grass. Today I will return from church and put together eight more chairs and put the stone tops on two picnic tables. Then I will barbecue some ribs.
Tomorrow I will work in my vegetable garden for awhile and then start cleaning some overgrown plants from the koi pond.
That's pretty much how life goes for me now...........doing things I like.
I spent the years between ages fourteen and fifty nine working and am now enjoying not working. I was a carpenter, exterminator, machinest, construction worker, security guard, clock maker, teacher, administrator for a special education camp and school administrator. I enjoyed each of those jobs. In fact the last job I had in which I ran the elementary science program for a large school district was like filet mignon. Retirement, however, is pheasant under glass.

Speaking of work, I'm there now!
I work every third weekend and one night a week at a genealogy library--this Sunday marks the last Sunday I work until Sept because we're closed that day thru the summer--yeehah!
My full time job is at a university library, in the local history department--I guess you could call me a librarian, lol.
My other jobs have been waitress at a truck stop, check out girl, and manager of a small store at a mall.
I don't mind work but I'll have to say I'm looking forward to retirement.

I work at Staples, dammit, though I'm quitting in August so I can focus on college. There, I shall major in Computer Science.

I work at a bakery, handling all the ins and outs of what needs doing in the store and kitchen. I'm still in high school, and plan on attending college. I'd like to be a teacher or journalist one day.

I work for a private, custom web application company as a Java developer. Our customers (usually companies, organizations, hospitals, and sometimes even entire school district) tell us what they want, I design and make the shit work, tinker with the looks only when I need to (got Graphic Designers for most of that), and fix whatever problems our existing applications are having. Mostly, I get shit to work. This is my first job out of college and I like how laid back the company culture is. (wear anything to work, can download and listen to music when working, everyone young)
