I recently quit using AOL as my internet provider.
I'm now using a high speed cable connection---RoadRunner.

As a mail server, I'm using Outlook Express.
The problem is....I used to be able to recieve neat e mails from my friends with embedded graphics in them---REALLY FUN!
Now I just get plain e mails---with attachments---what is supposed to be embedded --isn't!
The whole e mail looses continuity...and isn't fun : (

Is there something I can do?

Well, there are a few things you can try:

First, go to Tools>Options, and click on the "Read" tab. Make sure "Read all messages in plain text" is NOT checked.

Next, in the same Options window, click on the "Security" tab. Make sure "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" is NOT checked.

There is also a possibility that the people who are sending the emails have a setting incorrect. Tell them to:

Go to Tools> Options, and click on the Send tab. Make sure the "Mail Sending Format" is set to HTML. Then, click on the TOP "HTML Settings..." button and make sure "Send pictures with messages" is checked.

If this fails, email RoadRunner technical support and ask them, because this would likely be a mail server problem.

Hope this fixes your problem! :)

Thank you so very much for taking the time to answer my post!

I'm going to try your suggestions and do some test e mails.
