If you haven't seen it, it's a james woods movie focusing around the life/ career of Bill W, the founder of alcoholics anonymous. Great movie and for its time, and AMAZING movie considering it was originally made for tv. I was wondering though, why did it take so long to put this out on dvd? The movie probably isn't as popular as other wood's movies because it is kind of biographical on Bill W's life, but it is a very powerful movie.

AA is a very good thing!!! (Weather it truly works is up to the individuals will power to wanna stop im afraid)

Yeah, i'd say this movie is a great way to start out before going to AA meetings, it's a good backstory on the program, and the founders life, although it might have a few innaccuracies, they can be overlooked because woods performance is so spot on.
