View Full Version : Who Outted Superspy Valerie

Libby's defense team now has five witnesses who state that Joe Wilson told them his wife was a CIA agent. This is old (but ignored) news.
So he outted his wife, put her pictures in a magazine, and now he's helping her get a book deal.
If he knew she was in any danger because of some kind of covert status, would he have done all this?

The whole Plame episode gets more ridiculous by the day.

The whole Plame episode gets more ridiculous by the day.
Thanks to the Corporate-owned American media, the Plame affair never gained much traction, and is now being quietly swept under the rug like the numerous other scandals BushCo has been involved in.
Bush and Cheney could be caught on video sodomizing a 10 year old, and the Corporate Press's attitude would no doubt be one of --"Move along now, go home, go back to sleep. Nothing to see here. Move along."

Well we've had fitzpatrick investigating this for nearly three years. He's thrown people in jail to get info and the best he can come up with is that libby may have lied to him?
It's dying a slow death because like Whitewater there is no there there.

If Plame gained no traction, it wasn't for the lack of trying. Joe Wilson was everywhere. Every Sunday show, 3 times a week in the NY Times and a neat, very non-covert photo spread in Vanity Fair.
And now, he turns out to be the original leak. Big surprise.

Last time 'round you were part of the nutbars that thot clinton was evil, now it's bush. Is there a third personality lurking that wants to introduce itself?

Libby is charged with ...
1 count of obstruction of justice
2 counts of perjury
2 counts of making false statements
So just how do these 5 witnesses help Libby prove he didn't lie?
Secondly -- it is being rumored that at least 2 of the witnesses are either employees or consultants of FOX news (ROTFLMAO) ... it's not hard to see through that one ...
Thirdly -- it is also being rumored that these 5 witnesses are balking about being under oath which sounds like they might be backpeddling.
Fourthy -- the 5 witnesses claim they heard Wilson talk about his wife's work before Libby told Novak which means they would have had to have known about the outting which makes them co-conspirators and thus they would be hanging themselves (see why they don't like the oath part?)

1. I know. I said months ago that Fitzgerald will get all Martha-Stewarty as a last resort if he has nothing else.
2. Fox employees are more likely to risk jail time for perjury? You have an excuse for everything. What about the other three.
I'm not saying Libby is good or bad, but can't you admit that Wilson is a lying publicity whore?

Are you TRULY that ignorant?!?!
I didn't like Mr Clinton (too much of a rightwing stooge for me) , but I do not and have not ever thought (or "thot") or suggested that Clinton was "evil".
When I used the phrase --"e-ville Clintax couple"-- in the previous post, it was soley used in mockery of you and your seeming opinion that Bill and Hillary Clinton (i.e., "Clintax", to use your vernacular) were evil incarnate.

Fitzgerald is backing off most of the earlier grandiose claims and is settling for Martha-Stewarty charges. He recently said that it doesn't matter whether she was covert or not, because this is about perjury. Sounds like she wasn't covert.
He similarly said that it doesn't matter if that leak didn't cost any lives. Sounds like no lives were lost.
Unless you believe Dop's sources:
"This is about dozens and possibly hundreds of agents being killed after the outing of Valerie Plame and her cover company Brewster Jennings."

I've never even mentioned clinton, in any context. Clintax is your reference not mine. I'm puzzled as to where you might have any notion about what i think of clinton. Those voices you think you're hearing do not belong to me.
truthout.org as a respectable, responsible source? My god man have you no self-respect.

Of course you would laugh just as hard if they were employees of the New York Times or the Washington Post.
Oh, no, those are liberal news outlets so they must be above reproach.:lolhit:

It was the CIA that requested the investigation into Valeria Plame being outted -- reason: she was one of their undercover operatives. This was put to bed quite a while ago. I'm surprised you still recite that she wasn't an operative or that she wasn't undercover. Hmmmm ...
Anyway, here's the latest revelation that is quite interesting ...

Good story. That's nice of those sources to tell new secrets about Superspy in an article about how secrets shouldn't have been released.
Fitzgerald desperately wants to make a name for himself, and even he is backing off some of these claims.
And how about the Brewster/Jennings death claims of yours?
