Hmmm, I guess that explains why the Beatles biography kept referring to them as scousers.

I'm sure there is one, but I don't know what it is and even if I did, I sure as hell wouldn't do anything so stupid as to actually eat it.

All I can think of is that they like to make foods really sweet here in the South, and much food is fried. But in Atlanta things are pretty different than outside it. Global cuisine in the city.

We've a great deal of Tex-Mex (taquerias and barbeque joints), but of course like Dio said, the city (Houston) has "global cuisine."

Typical Milwaukee food would be bratwurst and sauerkraut...with cheese of course. :D

I like the wurst but hate the kraut.

We also have our share of ethnic restaurants however.

Dio answered for me. Atlanta has no cuisine of it's own, only imports from other countries.

A Taqueria is a restaurant specializing in tacos, burritos, and other Mexican cuisine.

Yes. Milwaukee was originally settled by predominantly German immigrants. The city was the major beer producer in the US for many years but that has changed.

Ugh....yeah...

Here's a recipe for succotash, red.
Grandma used to bake this in a deep dish pie with lattice work crust.
And we'd put gravy on it, lol. (Nap, we put gravy on everything, even beer. Which may explain why lots of Hoosiers are fat. We rank number 3 on the list of fattest states!)

Depends on whether it's summer or winter.

In the summer I live on Long Island and we have the best pizza and bagels in the entire known universe.

In the winter I live in Southern Florida and die for (literally....I can hear my arteries hardening as I eat) southern breakfasts; grits, biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak and eggs.
