We have played many games for years and ive recently read an article about the midlife crisis of the gaming industry that all genre of games have been explored and now theres nothing left. But Ive have now gone on a journey back through past consoles for that one game that really puts out something extra, something that keeps you going back for more, for example a shoot em up that gives you total control and maneuverability e.g like jumping off of walls and dodge bullets like the matrix but that game as you know is sh** I've possibly found it already. Trust the Japnese to create a game looks visually fantastic as well tongue twisting 'Virtual on: Oratorio Tangram'

If you know that game or know one that you love that has influenced you that we should hear about pleez reply

I remember two games specifically: Super Mario RPG for the SNES and Crazy Taxi for the Dreamcast, both were absolutely great.

Crono Trigger for the SNES was the best RPG game ever created, second is Tales of Phantasia, never released in the US but a translated version can be downloaded. I like RPG games, but if you want a sweet shooting game try Max Payne a bit, and especially get the Mods.

Oh, and we can't forget PC classics like Civilization, Age of Empires, and Doom.

I think the original Castle Wolfenstien is much better than Doom. I've only played the original Civilization, but I have all of the Age of Empires. Even the shitty Age of Mythology that they came out with. My favorite game of all time is Command and Conquer, the first, Age of Empires still hasn't been able to out beat that.
