I believe it is November. I really want to get it when it comes out. Too bad it is 600 dollars. Maybe Santa will get it for me for Christmas. lol

I work in Game on weekends and as yet were not taking any "offical" preorders. We take what is known as a "Interest to buy" which is a sort of a mailing list to tell people when they can preorder.
Just to note though, we are only getting 40 units where as we got 200 Xbox360's, Id imagine other stores are facing the same.

"I work in Game"
A chain of stores that is the largest UK retailer for video games.

Its incredible how often we get reminded of that. Nearly got knocked off the top spot by Blockbusters chain of Game shops "GameStation" which popped up outta nowhere overnight.
Good store to work in though, people are really nice (if a bit obsessed with World of Warcraft... which im actually going to buy next week)
I got the job for two reasons, 1) i love games and 2) to 100% secure my ability to get a PS3 :)

You are going to get addicted to that game. Not even joking. Most of the quests you have to have other users join a group with you to complete them. But if you like games you'll love it I'm sure. My bf played it and was playing like 10 hrs straight everyday as soon as he got out of school. It really hurt our relationship but he finally moved on from it.
I didn't play WoW very much but I did start playing Guild Wars and that was a fun game and it was free. Well... not monthly payments atleast. Now I am playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion... and I am addicted. haha. I don't have it for the computer though. Just the xBox 360 but still fun. :)

I'm just looking for a decent game to play to pass the hours im in doors, till the PS3 comes out.
I have witnessed the addictive quality it has on people, (all my Game work collegues talk about it endlessly at work)

I urge you to find something more constructive to do with your time. I played WoW for a long time, was a guild master, the whole shebang. It sucked away precious hours. When I wasn't playing, it often infected conversation with friends and compatriots, and often deprived me of sleep (I played 24 hours straight once). World Of Warcrack is a good name for that, don't get sucked in.
Adv, Oblivion is a great RPG. :)

According to his sig he has been sucked into WoW already, he's 6 hours into it, and never returning...
