France, Germany & Russia continue to push for the UN to take complete control of Iraq's rehabilitation, and are united in their stance against lifting the sanctions against Iraq. It appears that they alone want to keep their hands in Iraq's cookie jar, and not face the world when evidence of their true relationship with Iraq is revealed. Iraq has suffered mightily from the UN imposed sanctions, while the 3 "cowardly lions" have benefitted. Apparently they don't mind if American GI's shed their blood, as long as they get the oil.
