I'd like to hear about some things that really annoy people.

One thing I see all the time is people who stray out of the cross-walk when they're only half way across the street. It never fails that when I'm turning onto a street and I have to wait for a person who is crossing in the cross walk, when they get about half way they start heading toward the sidewalk at an angle instead of continuing to walk straight across the street. Since common sense says that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, they are taking more time to get out of the lane that I'm trying to turn into, making me, and the cars that are behind me, wait longer than we should have to.

Yeah, that's definitely a pet peeve of mine. Here's another one: people that start slowing down a mile before the interstate exit.

People who interrupt and Dr. Pepper.

People who don't signal their turns or lane changes. People who ignore Yield signs. People who try to change lanes INTO my vehicle. People who decide that a light rain is just cause to go 20 under the speed limit. People who are fairly slow but hang out in the left lane on the Interstate, especially large trucks.

I hate those people who start their lane change and THEN use the turn signal when they're already half way in your lane. Whats the point? To notify the person who they are about to hit that they are about to hit them?

I also hate the people who are turning at a 4-way stop but don't signal.

People who let their dog poo on the pavement and dont pick it up !!!!

People who drive under the speed limit in the left lane. (That would be right lane for you, Red and paulc)

People who don't make the left turn when there is a large break in oncoming traffic and sit and wait for the next green light.

Slow golfers who won't wave you through.

Slow checkout clerks.

In fact, just about anything that slows me down unnecessarily.

People who pull right in front of you, then put-put along at 20 mph.

People that wait until the lane ends before even thinking about merging over. Or worse - people that see the "this lane ends" sign and then move into that lane to try to get around just one more person before it ends.

Last time I checked, pet peeve does not just apply to motor-transportation related vexation. Yet each time somebody puts up this thread people never fail to talk about just that! Do you guys spend that much time driving? :@@:

Oh they do. I mean when you are in Europe you probably don't have driving in mind all day long.

About fifty minutes a day. It will be less when I get to Chicago.

Another pet peeve I have is when people judge you before they even get to know you. They usually judge you in a bad way too. Don't they know that the same way they judge other people is going to be the same way they are judged come judgement day.

They usually do it on the grass, at least where I live. I would much prefer they pooped on the pavement so I could see it. I park on the street next to a strip of grass and have come close to stepping it dog crap on many occassions. If I ever do, I going to throw it at the next person I see walking by my house with a dog.
