Ive just come in from watching my daughter play rugby for the school....

The team was 10,,,,,8 boys and 2 girls....

The other team was 10 boys....

My daughter Ellie is kinda tomboyish,,,,but in a geeky kinda way....:rolleyes:

As i watched,, i noticed poor little Ellie was running and keeping up,, shouting *over here* or *to me*.

Nobody passed Ell the ball,,,,,,,the other girl (built like a brick shit house) was passed the ball lots and even scored,,,but poor ellie just ran along ....

After the match i told her *good game Ell u were great ! *lol,,,,,,,the usual parent banter...

She said to me;

*Id have been even better if they passed me the ball ,,,but i heard them say ,,,,,if u wanna win ,,,dont pass Ellie the ball!* :mad:

She heard them say this and still ran along and joined in.......

Now,,,if this was me,,,,,,,i guess id have done the same,,,,,but id have a big lump in my throat and tears in my eyes all the time i was playing !!!!

Girls playing rugby? What's up with that?
