Went for a long walk and sat on the grass and watched my son play football !

Stopped at a pub on the way home and sat in the beer garden and had a shandy ,Mmmmm :drinktoth

Weather here is sunny and about 80F - its been like that every day for the past month or so. A few days up in the 90's

It's a damn good thing too, because you'd have Frogger flying out to the UK camped out in the bushes at grocery stores and post offices trying to find you. I bet the old coot's got more than a few tricks up his sleeve for just that sort of detective work!

I don't know Widnes very well at all. I'm from the North East (middlesbourgh area) but I lived in North Wales (wrexham) for 4 years before I moved to the US. That isn't too far from you. I've been to Chester like a hundred times.

I knew the vikings were from widnes.

I know Chester town center very well. I lived close by in Wrexham & when I was about 17 a friend of mine moved to Chester because his dad moved from ICI redcar to ICI in runcorn - so I went to Chester a few times then as well. He lived in the city center which was cool.

My Dad worked at ICI Runcorn !!!

Chester is a nice part of the country (nicer than middlesbourgh where I grew up) - but all in all the weather in the UK sucks really bad. Overcast 90% of the time, raining, cold except for a nice period in the summer. Generally not recommended - if I had to live in UK weather again I would sink into a depression. Sunny & warm practically every day does wonders for your state of mind. Now it's time to go swim in my pool...

Ah Warrington, brings back some crazy memories - I used to drive up to warrington quite a lot from wrexham to visit a scottish girl living there.

Makes me laugh when over here as soon as the sun comes out people come out in force,,,,joggin ,,,,walkin,riding bikes,,,,sittin in the beer gardens,,,,i walk the dog every day and some days i dont meet a soul,,,,,,,,bring out the sun and there are thousands of people..;)

Another Lovely day here in Cheshire,,,,,,al my Tulips and Daffs are out in my tubs,,,,,,,,,my garden looks lovely....

Yesterday was cold and damp and today looks to be the same. This weather is really causing me to fall behind on my yard work. I have managed to planat two rhubarb plants in the garden for use next year and have planted over two hundred lily plants near the swimming pool. Other than four flats of marigolds planted in deck planters that is about it for the planting. I did manage to rototil the vegetable garden though. I still have to seal the deck and the wall around the swimming pool, plant thirty ornamental grasses and five more flats of annuals and clean out the koi pond. That is a job I am not looking forward to. The reeds I planted last year have taken over the pond and that means I have to physically go in and rip them out. Their root balls are a heavy, tangled mass and the water is still cold as hell.

Tell me again why I leave Florida to come back to Long Island every Spring.

LOL, we managed to finish our yard work during our spell of fabulous weather lately..but today, damp and drizzly. Typical Hoosier weather--changes every 15 minutes...up next, either a blizzard or a tornado--makes life not dull.

Ahhh...another beautiful day(Tuesday), started out with a light fog, burning off to another clear day in the 80's.
Have been running the air conditioning everyday to keep the humidity and heat down.
