Okay, war supporters. Do you still support this war if we don't find any WMDs?

You all know my position of course....except maybe Davie.

Mine too. I just found out that the radioactive materials were of low grade, not weapon quality. Nice try US, but lets look harder, or plant them. And the missles launched at Kuwait were the ones the UN allowed them to keep.

Yeah, I do. I stand behind the POTUS. From the reactions of the Iraqi public we've all seen this was a good thing to do.

The dead don't make reactions.

I agree with es. But we will find the weapons. But, hell, you guys will still say we "planted" them.

If the WMD are not found it doesn't make any difference - Hussain needed to go - for his people's benefit, for the benefit of the region & for the benefit of the US & world stability. Look - already N Korea is at the table. S Korea commented that N Korea was "stunned" by the campaign in Iraq & feared they would be next.

But, I am sure they will be found. Of course Hussain didn't use them or the scuds - if he did his argument would be lost in the court of world opinion which he played like a fine tuned instrument (France was on the drums and Germany on the bass)

First Sadam, and his thugs needed to go.

Secound in 1988 Sadam killed 4,000 with chemical weapons in Halabja. I know this is old but it still proved he had chemical weapons and he did use them.

Third he used WMDs to fire at kuwait, so my quess is that we already have the proof.

Fourth our troops found lots of rockets that he said he did not have and was not suppose to have so once again more proof.

Just because it is not a chemical weapon does not mean it is not a Weapon Of Mass Distruction.

I'm not sure what kind of proof you anti-improvment people want? When they find this proof are they suppose to bring it to your home town so you can see it for yourselfs? If they did you probably still wouldn't believe it, If Sadam came up to you himself and said I have WMDs hidden in my a** you still wouldn't believe it. THE PROOF IS ALREADY THERE JUST STOP BEING SO DAMN BLIND!!!!!!!!!

mad dog, they will never believe that the WMD weren't planted, so don't even bother with them.

The poll results should surprise no one at all. Split right down the middle. No shades of grey here. LOL

ahh, the last grasp at some credibility, the left is teetering on the edge, and the slim hope that no WMD are found is the thread holding them above total and utter obscurity. The left hopes and prays (to the idea of a socialist society, since god is a villian in their world) that no WMD are found.

Lol, it IS funny isn't it? I think it's evidence that the whole WMD argument was a just a facade to justify our acting on public hostility towards Saddam's regime.

Oh please. Did you know that 85% of the U.S. is Christian? That means that, statistically, quite a few Christians are liberals (a majority, actually).

wait a minute borg, are you admitting this is a chistian nation? Not a islamic or jewish nation, but a christian nation? that is quite intolerant of you, and not very diverse. I thought you knew that the minority rules this country now, to hell with the 85% who are christians, lets have "become a muislim week" in our public schools, and to hell with the mention of the christian god!!! Seperation of church and state!! (unless it happens to be a minority religion, then we will celebrate it)

Travh has a point....the US has bent over backwards in attempts to appease the Muslim minority, and has been slapped in the face for its' efforts.

Trav, I don't want any religion in schools or government...and that includes Christianity.

What exactly is the right track and the wrong track? I've always beleived there is no right or wrong, just different directions(those directions can be quite stupid at times...).

Blibb...perhaps your problem is that you've never learned to differentiate between right & wrong. Somehow you've convinced yourself to despise the country you live in & take up the degenerate teachings of some documented losers...those preaching the commie line. At times, the distinction of right vs wrong may be distorted, but there remains a clear deliniation.

To your societal standards.

Unfortunately for you, you are judged by those societal standards. Your "new world order" is, at best, an eon away.

I might've known Blib would turn out to be a moral relativist! Can he get any more left?

All right...back to the subject of this thread...I saw on the news the other day that a reputable Iraqi scientist has stated that the U.S. continuing to look for WMDs is pointless because there are none left. The newscaster implied that this scientist is likely telling the truth.

Latest reports from various news sources (cnn, fox, cbs, etc) tell of the Iraqis dumping the chemicals only days before the pre-emptive strikes by the US. It would seem that this could be verified by various types of soil testing.
