I see when you go to different sites, different sizing of Avatars are allowed.

Trying to get a photo down to 70 X 70 pixels is so small, it really shows very little content.

Why is it that Avatars cannot be allowed to a much larger size, so you don't need a magnafyer to see it?

Is there a way larger Avatars can be used?

Also, on the page where you go to "choose" an Avatar, none seem to show up for me. How do I find a listing of current Avatars to use, if I can't use a personal photo....which basically is useless because of sizing allowed?

Thanks...

Well, there's the simple fact that we want the avatars to be of a nice, small size so they don't eat up half the screen. Some of us, you know, are poor and use 15" monitors, and therefore have a 800x600 resolution. We don't want the posts squashed by a large avatar.

Plus, smaller avatars decrease bandwidth use, since there's less to download.

Oh, and we have no built-in avatars. You need to get your own (I see you already have one).
