This is great you say???

Heres the catch

Broadband users who do download the shows will not be able to skip adverts embedded in the programmes.Im tired of ppl trying to force spam in our faces!! Its bad enough we pay for cable TV and still see the ads.........

Well....I believe that the cable companies are the protectorate of all the distribution companies.

Even the DSL and Dish companies. Break their link .......and ........open the floodgates.

Bring it on Disney.

They're not forcing it on you - you have to download it. I suppose you think they should give it to you for free out of the goodness of their hearts?

Nothing to do with Disney..........

BUT

Is every TV channel over there an advert channel ??

We have BBC 1 and 2 that dont break every 15-20 mins for adverts and its great.......

Sky channels over here sometimes break for adverts after 4 mins,,,,,,,,,sooooooooooo annoying ... :(

Yes. Supposedly PBS doesn't have commercials, but in reality they do. But they only appear at the beginning and end of the shows.

Most cable channels over here .....didn't have commercial advertising breaks........when they first started if I remember correctly.

There are still some channels ...on cable without commercial advertising .....but ...........they are usually public service stations like C-SPAN or the like.

Up on the high digital cable stations there are specific programs for music and sports that don't have advertisements as commercial breaks.

But .....like the dude says .................there will be software that will allow you to record and filter this stuff .....sooner or later. Just my HO.
