Currently I like Sweetwater Blue and Leffe (both Brune and Blonde). Perennial favorites are Kirin Ichiban, Dos Equis Amber, New Castle, and Stella. I've tried a lot of microbrews and Belgiums, and some are really good (Maudite, Trois Pistoles, Corsendunk etc.), but I don't drink them often...too expensive. Generally Irish reds like Bass and Killians are everyday beer for me. When I go up to Toronto to see my girlfriend, I drink a lot of Steam Whistle and Creemore Springs. I enjoy these two beers so much, I wish they have it on tap here in the States. American mass produced pilsners are mostly shit. And I am not being snotty when I say this...I can identify those shits in blind tasting.

Haven't had any alcohol other than communion wine since I first got cancer of the vocal cords twenty odd years ago. The doctor told me at the time I would no longer be allowed to drink alcohol. When I asked him why he replied that alcohol is a carcinogen and could bring the cancer back. Good enough reason to not drink as far as I am concerned.
When I did drink I like Old Grandad warm with a little water.
I also enjoyed Rusty Nails, a mixture of scotch and drambuie.
Beers of choice were Spatenbrau and HB when I could get them or any other brand when I couldn't.
Nowadays it's iced tea with Splenda or Equal.
