ok everyone do you all think it is normal for someone to cry and always think about goin to grad school when they are not ready to go yet, but yet they have people telling them they need to and expect them to? see in my situation i have that issue...people are always asking me when im goin to grad school and i always tell them in the fall but honestly im not ready to go yet..i want to work first and get experience..plus im gonna need money eventually anyways...but i feel as though if i start grad school late and tell them that they (church members, family) will believe i never really intend to go and they will think low of me if i dont want to go now? i jus feel as though i dont wanna let them down and the reason why im taking time off now is because i jus graduated in december and i wanted a break really....i really want to work and get experience and if that works for me i am content... whether i go t o grad school now or not.. ihave even gone as far to tell some people i already applied to some schools but in actuality i have not. ...what do you all think i should do and do you all think this normal?

Definitely do what's best for you and not what everyone thinks you should do. And yeah, learn how to spell.
Definitely go to grad school if you have the chance. It will pay off in the long run.
Also .....beware of the "looky Lou's" .....in here and in your career future ........cuzzzzzzzzz ....they like to berate people (it seems to make them feel better about themselves) ......for letting down and expressing your thoughts. Don't let criticism of a misspelled word ..............deter you from your future goals.

That's nice and all, Slim, but I'm pretty sure most grad schools prefer people that can read and write like an adult. Try writing your resume like that and see how far you get.

The most reasonable definition of an adult is one who is capable of making their own decisions in life, weighing all the factors and circumstances and doing what they deem the best thing. An adult also accepts the consequences of those decisions.
