Hey, I've searched the web all over and threads and shit nothing seems to be a help. Ok so heres my scenario, I have 2 computers one runnign XP Home and one XP Media, one is connected to my router via hardwire the other is connected via wireless. I want to network these together but I'm clueless and screwed around with it for a few hours and still dont know what fuck to do. So can someone help me out? Would be greatly appreciated.

if you go into network connections in the control panel, click on setup home network, everything will be set up.

then you have to disable your firewalls and share some folders (rightclick>properties>sharing>share this folder on the network)


if you're still having trouble, make sure the computers can ping each other.
