I was watching one of those documentaries about near death experiences. One of the people featured was a biologist who did have a near death experience. I forgot the circumstances of her NDE but she fully expected that when she died, she would become "free nitrogen." Anyway she had an NDE, which happened to be a very pleasant one and now she believes that, yes, there is life after death.

Point being that this woman didn't believe in Jesus, yet no hell, no lake of fire or any of that.

I'm not about to denegrate someone's belief in Jesus. To me, that is just as disgusting as what the radical Islamists have been up to. NO ONE really knows what happens after we die. I don't know what to believe and I'm not sure "salvation" can be found in the Bible or in the belief in Jesus or any of that.

Benlym, I think it's great you've found salvation in Jesus. But those like me remain a bit skeptical, dammit.
