ok everyone i have a friend and he told me that a statement i made was the dumbest phrase he ever heard...we were talkin about something and he was like "thats the dumbest pharse i have ever heard"...and then he tol me that he do not understand the way southerners talk and that people up north do not talk like us..he is from up north by the way...but how would you all took it about him saying that was dumb phrase?...what do you think he was saying?...and another time he thought i did not know where dc was because i didnt answer the question...i thought he was trying to be funny when he asked me where is washington...so i jus didnt answer and for that reason he thought i really didnt know when i really do know duh!! but i thought he was was talkin about washington the state and not dc so i had really misunderstood the question...thats jus like asking where is california in california duh!! or where is los angeles...but anyways what do you all think about this and what he said about the "dumb phrase" ? and soemtimes he asks me questions jus to see if i will kno the answer..and he even asked me one time what kind of grades did i get in grammar school... i really need you all honest opinion of this situation...thanks again..

thank u all for the responses so far...other people think im way too sensitive and say that imust be dumb if i got offended by his comments but he said he wasnt saying it in a way to say im dumb...and then he said "people where im from would have caught on to the joke"....jus like when he asked me the questions i felt kinda awkward so maybe its jus me ? i dont know ...and technically he is from the midwest... do you all think im overreacting ? what would you all would have told your friend who told you this ?
