So what's everyone make of this film?
I recommend it; fantastic writing. Since I'm too lazy to post my usual review, click here (http://evakian.blogspot.com/2006/03/remember-rememberto-see-this-movie.html#links) to read it.

I read the graphic novel by Alan Moore when it was published, about 15 years ago, and I liked it. From the trailer I suspect it has been turned a bit too much into an action movie - same problem with The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Alan Moore is not very lucky with Hollywood.

There is actually very little action involved; just a few scenes of brief violence. The differences from the book are mostly prominent in changing Evey's character, making V look "less insane", and the government seems "more evil."
'League' is not exactly the greatest plot or movie, but I'll reserve full judgment until I get my hands on the graphic novel.

Spectacular. Although, after the movie I started reading the comics, and the Watchmen comics at the same time. Frankly though, I finished the Watchmen first. Better. Hope that movie will be just as good. V for Vendetta though was probably one of the best movies I've seen, second best I've seen in a year... Best is still Serenity.
I did dislike the overall theme of "bash the US". It was unneeded and retarded. It made the movie too centered, it made it seem far less international then the comic. I, however, do not agree to the extent of Alan Moore's sentiment on the movie, he was a bit too harsh.
And I cannot write.
