I wonder if he'll win!

So he really didn't sue himself he was trying to sue the city. Of course this is still funny because he is the one that caused the damage. I think he should atleast get a dumb a** award.

Before we decide who gits any dumb ass awards, shall we wait til the jury award...

If he'd hit someone else's car, wouldn't the city have to pay to fix it? Unless he hit his own car on purpose, I'd say he's got a case.

I would think the city would be liable for the damages if he was driving the truck on city business...I guess it depends on the circumstances of the crash.

Saw this on TotalFark the other day. Yep, guy's in it to make a buck, but the law wight be on his side. Since, when he's in a car driven by the city, he's covered by their insurance, wouldn't he get reimbursed by them? Of course...the city might be more apt to fire him if their insurance goes up because of him...

I think the guy's got a case as well, sad as it may be.

if we threw out all the stupid law suits would there be anything left? What a sue happy world we live in. :(
