...is building.
A win , and you go on; a loss, and you go home.
I love it!

Nowhere will you see more heartstopping, exciting games!

The Big Ten has 6 teams in, and it's good to see IU back after a 2 year layoff--a number 6 seed yet. Would like to see a matchup with Gonzaga--should be a great one.

So, who do you like in the Final Four at Indy?

I shall be rooting for Wisconsin, but I expect they will exit sometime this weekend. Their first game is Arizona, and should they survive that they will play Villanova. They really haven't been the same since losing their brilliant freshman center to academic problems. Still for a team as young as they are, it is an honor just to be invited.

Duke Vs. Villanova

I've been really enjoying watching Syracuse the last couple of weeks, so I'll be watching their progress. Another team I really like to watch is West Virginia, but they rely so heavily on shooting, I'm sure they'll lose as soon as they get cold.

I predict either Iowa or Ohio State in the Final Four. The Big 10 has a long history of upsetting more highly seeded teams in this thing.

Go Big 10!

I'm with you Lionel!
Tho they're the enemy during the regular season, I root for them all during the Big Dance.

IU survives scare, Illinois advances too. Up next for the Hoosiers--Gonzaga, who survived a scare themselves from scrappy Xavier.

Let's all sing the IU fight song:

".......Indiana, oh Indiana, Indiana, we're all for you...."
This could be Coach Davis' last game. Scuttlebutt has it that our new coach will be either Matta from Ohio State or the chosen one, the great Hoosier Steve Alford from Iowa, the golden boy.

Myself, I want the General back.

I lost 1/4 of my final four on opening night. Stupid Oklahoma! Oh well, I still got Uconn vs West Virginia in the title game

Adios to Coach Davis and godspeed.
Our turnovers doomed us and lack of disciplined play.
ah well, this has been the story since the General was run out of town like a mangy dog.
Coach Knight, please, come back!

Way too many upsets, then again that's what March Madness is all about. It's just a lot of fun to watch college basketball. It keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole game. I just finished watching OH ST vs. Georgetown and I was amazed. Great game.

this is exactly what March is all about...But look at the brackets now. The D.C. bracket was by far the toughest bracket going in, but now look, the winner of Uconn-Washington(uconn) will face either #7 wichita state, or #11 George Mason. Not so hard now.

Quite a good tournament for me: LSU and UConn are still in it (I have them going to the final game with UConn winning), and in my pool of 51 or so other ISU students, I'm #1. Not too shabby...

Biggest surprise of the year: George Mason
Biggest disappointment of the year: Iowa/Mich. St.

Up to this point, what do you think of this year's tourney?

IIt's nice to see the Cinderella George Mason go this far. I'm tired of the same old teams all the time, like Puke.

EVen though UCONN is my team, and I picked them to win it all from the beginning of the season, I found myself rooting for GMU a little bit. Uconn just didnt seem to be playing with any heart.
