If so, are they worth the money? How well do they perform and are they reliable?

My friend has one.

If you are looking to replace your upright, pass. Looking for something to entertain your dogs with? Look no further.

I'd like to try one of them.

I hear they have a mopping thingy like that now ....that will go around the terrazal or tile floor scrubbing it.

I bought one for my wife two years ago. It hung up on even a low carpet. We brought it down to our Florida place which has tile floors. It sucks down here too. Save your money.

My wife got one for Christmas. I heard the vacuum going so I went in to check on her and she was reading a book.

The upright vacuum hasn't been out of the closet since. I never used either one.
