Dude, Sonic Youth is rereleasing 3 of their cd's!! Im a HUGE fan so Im stoked! They are remastered and will be in stores March 14. I heard about it at my internship at Universal. If you know anything about music, then you will know who Sonic Youth is, if you are unfamiliar with this band...then take some time and visit their website: sonicyouth.com because this band seriously rocks!

2004 saw the release of one of their best works, Sonic Nurse. They are in the process of making a new album for this year.

I saw Sonic Youth a couple of years ago in Austin, touring on their new album at the time Murray Street.

They were fantastic. True masters of noise.

Murray Street and Sonic Nurse, IMO, are the best two SY records to be released since Daydream Nation. Although Goo and Dirty were great, I think in the past few years we have seen a resurgance of the SY of old, and I cannot get enough of it.

Any old-school SY fans out there? I think Daydream Nation was by far the best record of the 1980's. It's a legendary record that belongs in every collection.
