I am 100% against the new James Bond, Daniel Craig. What do y'all think?

I've already lost interest in the bond series. Brosnan was ok as Bond, but my favorite is still Moore.

I agree - the series lost something when they turned into excuses for spectacular explosions.

I thought that the series went downhill when Roger Moore came along, esp in his first appearance in "Live and Let Die"--the scene when he hops across the crocodiles in the pond brought howls of laughter from the audience.
You're not supposed to laugh at Bond, James Bond.

Ha, I'd have to say my fave is Connery. After him, it was never the same....:D

The makers of the new movie, said that they wanted to take it in a different direction... well they certainly accomplished that. Just not the direction they were aiming for. Sassy

I'm looking forward to the new bond flick. I mean, the franchise was going downhill, imo. Not that I disliked Brosnan, but a fresh start was needed. And Craig is a good fit, for me. I think that the argument that he's blonde so he's not bond-y, sucks. I also think that the fact that he was hurt while filming a fight scene isn't an indication of how well he can fill the role. It's just bashing for the sake of bashing. I just read the book and it's a pretty low-action story. Mainly involving goings on in a casino. So I wonder how close to the actual book they'll stay with this film, but it's definitely not all gadgets and women.
