The United States are surely planning to invade atleast one of these countries if not both. If they do, it will be Americas downfall. These nations are going to be extremely hard to invade. Iran is a huge country with a population of over 60 million. The people will also fight much harder than the Iraqis, because they do not hate their leader as the Iraqis did.

It's unlikely that either will be invaded. N Korea will never be invaded.

Let me be the devil's adbocate, I wonder why you feel that other countries shouldn't have their own WMD, anyway it would take them far too long to have the same number of WMD as the country has, even today, those that everybody knows where they are, and those very well hidden. I think, if you can have them, I can too. Bullshit that retoric about, "we can't trust them", nobody trustes you either. And stop feeling that, like the Jews, you are the chosen ones, choosen by who? Certainly not a God, if it is somewhere out there, but perhaps by his oponent. Was the President born the 6th of june of 1946? (666).

Because it's not about being fair, it's about protecting our interests.

Not sure if the president was born then, but if so - I doubt the 666 means he is the anti-christ. I doubt the anti-christ would have a 30% approval rating & only 8 years in office.

As Drew said, It's about protecting our interest. No nation makes policies out of pure altruism, everything is about self interest. Only a damned fool would say otherwise.

Right now, it is in our nation's best interest to stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons. This goes doubly so for countries which have signed the NPT.

I do not think that America will go to war with Iran. Most likely, this situation will be solved by either diplomacy or economic pressure.

The solution I have found most appealing would allow Iran to continue to build the reactor, but the enriching process would be done in Russia and the product shipped to Iran.

Just my 3 cents.

The invasion of Iraq and the fact that Isael has undeclared nukes in violation of international law is a good motivator...

Iran is smart enough to realize the only countries that will survive the wrath of the United States are those that have nuclear weapons.

Iran only has to witness how the United States completely demolished Iraq, killing thousands of innocent people without even batting an eye and for no reason other than to take their oil and build bases.

Iran will get her nukes one way or another. Either build them or buy them on the black market and there is nothing the US can do to stop it.
