Lets see what we have here....

Stories about the US using the "salvador option" (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6802629/site/newsweek/) of death squads in Iraq (Jan 05)...

At about the same time Mr. El Savadorian Death Sqaud himself, John Negroponte (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Negroponte) is the US Ambassador to Iraq (June 2004 - April 2005)

And now we have an Iraqi investigation into actual death squad hits themselves. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/4719252.stm) (Feb 06)

Now the most striking thing in this article (which is somehow missing in the Yahoo version) is this line...

Gen Peterson, who is in charge of training the Iraqi police, told the Chicago Tribune on Wednesday that US forces had stumbled across the first evidence of death squads within the interior ministry. The 22 interior ministry traffic policemen, dressed in police commando uniforms, were arrested in late January at an Iraqi army checkpoint in northern Baghdad and asked what they were doing. They told soldiers they were taking a Sunni man away to be shot dead. "The amazing thing is... they tell you exactly what they're going to do," Gen Peterson said. Now why would Iraqi death sqauds dressed as police think it was OK to tell American soilders what they were up to?...Think about it.

Oh and when did the death squad activity start? Just as Negroponte was leaving of course...

"The bodies of Sunni men -- bound, shot in the head and left in dumpsters, on side streets and in patches of desert -- have turned up frequently since the middle of last year, shortly after the Shiite-led government was named in April."(05) (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/02/16/AR2006021600180.html)

Thats the thing about using proxies. When caught deny, deny, deny....

What no one is even going to have the decency to call me a loon on this one? Or is it just to hard to deny this one so you pretend it doesn't exist?

Okay, I'll bite...

From your first post:

Then you ask:

Now why would Iraqi death sqauds dressed as police think it was OK to tell American soilders what they were up to?

Were they telling American soldiers?

Good job Vile. You got me on that point. Now how about commenting on what you think this whole business is about.

I think this whole business is about Shiites giving it back to the Sunnis for how they were treated by the minority Sunnis under Saddam's rule.

Sorta like that whole Hutu and Tutsi thing, huh. Nothing like inflaming differences then switching the roles to garner atrocities...

there is no subject, just a thinly veiled attack on the US, again. You had no concern or interest in Iraqi on Iraqi violence until you saw a chance to take a swing at the US.
